K’álodé (Willow River) Canoe Program
(10 Days)
Age: 14-16
Dates: July 6th - 15th, 2022

This 10 day program takes youth from Luge dek’ale Túé (Kelly Lake) to Tulı́t'a along the K’álodé (Bracket River) and the Sahtúdé (Great Bear River). During the program, participants will take part in skill development, community building, and leadership training. This is an amazing place to start for those just getting into canoe travel and looking to explore this beautiful part of the Sahtú.

Sahtúdé (Great Bear River) Canoe Program
(14 Days)
Age: 15-18
Dates: July 28th - August 10th

Our flagship program that started in the summer of 2021. Starting in Délı̨nę, participants and staff will travel down the crystal clear flowing waters of the Sahtúdé (Great Bear River) catching T’á (grayling), learning how to safely navigate the fast moving water, and visiting important sites like Bennet’s Field and Bear Rock. After stopping in Tulı́t'a to visit and learn with elders and community members, the group will continue on their way to Łegóhli (Norman Wells).
