BSE works with some of the best wilderness educators in the industry to provide programs that challenge participant’s preconceived notions of what they can accomplish, all while teaching valuable life skills in remote and beautiful natural settings.
Youth (12-18)
Our youth programs provide a safe and exciting environment for participants to explore their limits and grow as individuals and leaders in their communities. We provide a wide range of experiences from week long hiking and canoeing programs to multi-week whitewater canoe expeditions - there is something for everyone.
Young Adult (19-25)
Our adult programs offer many of the same amazing wilderness experiences, but provide more focused areas of education and programming. This includes subjects such as skill building for educators wanting to move into the outdoor classroom or community building and leadership skills for members of social justice movements.
Specialized
These programs offer very specific programming to diverse groups that may have different needs than what is supported in our other programs. This includes trips that focus on working with survivors of abuse, those living with mental illness, and individuals who have a history within the criminal justice system.
Custom Groups & Partnerships
Black Spruce Education is able to work with a wide variety of groups to support the development specific and customized programs that fit an array of educational goals. This includes working with school boards, Indigenous communities, and other organizations.
